Read MoreThis post has been on my heart to write for some time now. When I lost my dad in 2020, I was so comforted by how family and friends supported me during such a difficult time. They were a hit and for good reason. Not simply because people love cute pieces they can just throw on, but more so because of the message. In the quest for a more fulfilling and joyful life, we often seek complex solutions when, in fact, the path to thriving can be simplified. Today, I’m sharing some concepts to break down the word thrive that are practical guidelines that can help us lead a happier and more vibrant life.

Read MoreAlright glow getters, let’s talk about our 2023 goals! I know that January and sometimes even February are reset months, but now that we’re in March, it’s time to start taking action on some of our goals for the year. When it’s comes to goal planning and execution, I like to follow the SMART criteria — Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time-Bound. Read MoreToday, I want to remind you that delay is not denial! We often hear this in relation to keeping hope alive for dreams that have yet to come to past. I had another revelation regarding delays this past Spring. Have you ever had something on your to do list for a long while that for some reason you couldn't get to as soon as you'd hoped? I'm sure we've all been there. We are often managing and balancing so many different things simultaneously. This makes it nearly impossible to conquer everything on our to do list in 1 day. Sometimes things get shifted to the next day, week, month, or in some cases the next year. This shifting and delaying is not always the result of too many things on our list, or laziness or fear (although sometimes it is). I realized that this delaying could possibly be God's way of holding off some things for when we will really need them or when things can prosper. Here's 2 examples of this that happened to me in May…

Showing up for ourselves is so important, and doing it with intention is key. Sometimes, we show up for everyone and everything else, to only save the leftovers for ourselves. It’s timeout for that! We should be our own number 1 priority, and we shouldn’t feel guilty about it or make excuses for not prioritizing ourselves. I’m currently focusing in on the following 5 ways to show up for me - no matter what…
Read MoreI talk a lot about growth and goals. Today, I want to talk a little bit about another g word — grace. We all should hold ourselves to a standard of grace and not perfection. Often times we are way harder on ourselves than we are on others. I'm working hard to give myself grace, just like I do others. However, I also recognize the dangers of too much grace. If we're not careful, sometimes grace turns into excuses for stagnation. Today, I want to share some of my perspectives on how grace and grind plays into our personal and professional growth.
