My Fall 2024 Focus: A Season of Growth, Wellness, and Order

Hey Glow Getters! ✨ I’ve had several pumpkin spice lattes and have pulled out my sweat sets, so that can only mean one thing: fall is here, and I’m ready to embrace this season with open arms! This year, instead of the traditional bucket list, I’m switching things up and calling it my Fall Focus. It’s all about intentionality and refocusing on the things that matter most. And to help me stay on track, I’m using an acronym for FALL to guide my goals this season: Focus, Align, Learn, Live.

MY FALL FOCUS BREAKDOWN

F – Focus on Order

My word of the year for me has been order, and I’m bringing that energy right into fall. This season, I’m focusing on creating order in all aspects of my life, from routines to personal wellness and everything in between. It’s time to declutter not just my home, but my mind and body, too. That means sticking with my daily journaling practice to stay connected to God and myself, and being mindful of the things that bring me peace.

I’ve been loving my morning routine lately, but I’m ready to take it to the next level with more consistency. This season, I’m focused on nurturing my mental, emotional, and spiritual health, and the Woman Evolve conference really centered around this. I’ll do a recap of the conference soon.

A – Align My Home with My Vision

This fall, my house is getting a full refresh! The decluttering and organizing is in full effect, and I’m determined to keep the momentum going. I want my home to be a peaceful, organized space that feels like a sanctuary. This means continuing with my decluttering projects, organizing closets and storage areas, and making sure everything has its place.

I’m also getting ready to host Thanksgiving at my house this year, so creating an organized and welcoming space is even more important! I used to love hosting holiday events with friends and family before the pandemic—there’s just something about gathering everyone together that filled my heart with joy. That’s why I’m excited to get back to some of this.

L – Learn New Recipes

If you’ve been following along, you know I love trying new recipes, especially when the weather cools down and I’m spending more time in the kitchen. Fall is the perfect time to experiment with comfort food that warm you up from the inside out. I’ve got a few new recipes on my list this season, and I want to incorporate more healthy eating habits, too.

Trying new recipes is a fun way for me to get creative in the kitchen, but it’s also a part of my overall wellness focus. Nourishing my body with wholesome foods is such an important part of taking care of myself, and I’m excited to dive into some new recipes this fall. I’ll definitely be sharing some of my favorites with you all, so stay tuned for that!

L – Live Well (Mind, Body, Soul)

Wellness is always at the top of my list, but this fall, I’m taking a holistic approach. I’m focusing on all aspects of wellness—mind, body, and soul—using the Wellness Wheel as my guide. This means staying consistent with yoga and/or walking, continuing with self-care rituals that fill me up, and making time for the things that truly make me happy.

I’ve realized that wellness isn’t just about working out or eating right—it’s about feeling good from the inside out and making sure I’m showing up for myself every day. Whether it’s through movement, mindfulness, or simply slowing down and taking time to breathe, I’m committed to living well this season, more than I have in previous seasons.

How to Create Your Own Fall Focus

If you’re feeling inspired, why not create your own Fall Focus? Here are some tips to help you get started:

1. Choose a Guiding Word or Theme

Start by choosing a word or theme for the season that reflects what you want to focus on. It could be something like balance, growth, or gratitude. Let this word guide your decisions and intentions throughout the season.

2. Break It Down with a Framework

Using an acronym like I did with F.A.L.L. can help you stay focused and intentional with your goals. Think about what each letter could stand for in your life and how you want to prioritize different areas of your focus.

3. Set Clear, Achievable Goals

Your fall focus should include specific goals that are aligned with your overall intentions for the season. Whether it’s decluttering a room, starting a new workout routine, or making time for self-care, make sure your goals are clear and achievable.

4. Make Space for Fun!

Don’t forget to add some fun to your list! Fall is such a beautiful season, so make sure to include activities that bring you joy, whether it’s traveling, pumpkin carving, or simply enjoying a cozy movie night at home.

I’m excited to dive into this season and focus on growth, order, and wellness. What’s on your Fall Focus list? Let me know in the comments or on social!

Keep glowing,
