Welcome to day 7 of the Women’s History Month Celebration Circle. Today, I’m spotlighting Ericka Symonette and Lindsey Appiah, the 2 creatives behind Color Bloque, which is a vibrant community providing curated content to help you more easily live a life filed with inspiration, beauty, wellness and style. Fun Fact: Ericka and I went to the same church together for years, and she is one of my good friends. Learn about she and Lindsey’s joint venture and what they’re celebrating.

Share with the glow getter gang a little bit about yourself.
ColorBloque is a community for women to collaborate, connect, and create! It's truly a space for all women, no matter their background, race, profession, etc who want to live their most vibrant and fun lives in simple ways...cause we busy!! Am I right or am I right? ColorBloque was started by Ericka Symonette (former high school fashion teacher turned entrepreneur) and Lindsey Appiah (a DC based attorney).
As women, we sometimes don't give ourselves enough credit. However, I want you to take a moment to celebrate yourself. Please share one or more of your wins, or something you're proud of or excited about.
We just added a new contributor to our team who will focus on wellness and fitness! We finally had team photo shoot we've been talking about for months. ColorBloque will celebrate it's 5 month anniversary on April 1. We took a leap and we're still going!
I love cheering on and celebrating glow getters - women committed to growth, achieving their goals and glowing from the inside out. Please share the names of at least 2 women who you feel embody what it means to be a glow getter and why.

Women's history month is dedicated to celebrating not only women as a whole, but also our contributions that have helped shaped history, society, families and more. With that in mind, share the name of 1 woman you admire and why.
The Queen...Beyonce! I admire her work ethic, creativity, and philanthropic focus. She gives 200% to everything she does and I respect that. I also admire the way she uplifts and celebrates black people unapologetically. She is here for the culture and very intentional about the symbols, designers, beats, artists, locations, messaging, etc. she uses. So much of it goes over people's heads. In times of controversy or drama, you never hear her bad mouthing anyone or responding to critics. She always rises above. She consistently walks in her power and the purposes for which she is called. She is a perfect example of living your most vibrant life!
Anything else you want to share?
