Whether you are an aspiring or existing entrepreneur, there are 4 valuable things I’ve had for years that I think are essential for all business owners. Of course, this round up is not the end all be all of things a business owner needs, so I’ll be sharing more tips in my growing business series, so look out for future posts. In the meantime, check out today’s vlog and bonus tips below:

I hope you enjoyed today’s vlog! If you have all 4 business basics under your belt, give yourself a round of applause. Alternatively, if you don’t already have all 4 in place, don’t beat yourself up because every basic I mentioned is not difficult to obtain — in fact you can get all in place this month. Here are my go to resources for implementing these 4 business staples.

WEBSITE – As mentioned before, I’m a huge fan of Squarespace. It’s extremely easy to use and to update. If you don’t have a website or are in the market for a new one, I highly recommend this platform that has served me well for years. Additionally, don’t feel you have to do your website yourself. While I did this one myself, the Sensational Soirees site was created by a professional. I’m an advocate for outsourcing, so do what works best for you.

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT - To better leverage social media, I’m a huge fan of scheduling through platforms like Later. It allows me to be more thoughtful in the content I share, so that I can add value in lieu of posting just to post. Check out their free and paid accounts here, and thank me later.

GRAPHICS + DOCUMENTS - You need to try Canva today if you haven’t. From video templates, to social media graphics, to client documents, I make it all using Canva. Try it for free here.

CLIENT MANAGEMENT TOOLS - To better manage your client quotes, contracts, invoices and more, while ensuring they are extremely professional, I highly recommend 17hats or Dubsado. If you want potential clients to take you seriously, put your best foot forward by sending out professional invoices and more. You can save 50% off of 17hats with my link, or 20% off of Dubsado with my link.

BUSINESS CARDS - Now in the midst of Covid, sure business cards may not be the number one priority. However, if you’re sending things in the mail to customers, tossing a business card or thank you flyer in the package goes a long way. Canva offers printing services, along with Moo, and I love using both! Get $20 off at Moo here.

BONUS - Every business owner needs a dope playlist to vibe out to during the work day. On the days where it’s chaos, it’s something about music that shifts my mood and helps me to focus. Check out one of my favorites I created on Spotify. Enjoy!

I hope you found today’s tips helpful! What other tips would you add to this list? Share below.

Have a glowing day!
