Trailer: Let's Go Behind The Glow
I’m officially adding podcaster to my resume! To say I’m excited, yet slightly nervous, would be an understatement. There are so many thoughts, dreams, prayers, passion and hard work that has led up to this moment, this launch, this vision realized. A big part of my mission with the Shalyce Tyson lifestyle brand has been sharing the behind the scenes as I navigate life, business and everything in between. Another big part of my mission has been creating spaces for glow getters to feel seen, motivated and celebrated. Insert this dream in 2020 to create a podcast to do just that.
Behind The Glow is a lifestyle and business podcast that seeks to empower and equip women on both their personal and professional journeys. To know me is to know that I love cheering on glow getters and spotlighting them, too. From events like Buy Black, Black Friday and Women Celebrating Women to Fourth Friday’s with Friends interviews and more, I find joy in building community, discussing important topics and shining a light on others. Thus, this podcast provides me with a unique opportunity to expand on how I highlight women who are doing amazing things, and to share my own voice and insights. I am honored to provide a platform for others to tell their stories and share their expertise. In turn, my hope is that listeners walk away with their cups filled, tangible tips, and a big dose of motivation.
Although it has taken me over a year to get here, I’m so glad to be here! At this very moment, I am literally 6 months pregnant with twins, and almost used that as an excuse to delay this launch. However, I feel so deeply that the time is NOW. In fact, by enjoying this special time in my life and motherhood journey, while simultaneously launching this podcast, I realized I’m sending an important message that we all can thrive in our personal and professional lives — you don’t have to sacrifice one for the other. I hope by leaning into this, that whoever these episodes are meant for will find so much joy, inspiration and value in them. Above all, I hope the show empowers you to keep going, keep growing and keep glowing!

Weekly episodes will go live on Tuesdays on Apple Podcasts, Spotify and wherever podcasts are streamed. Season One will run from late Fall to late Winter. The trailer and episode 1 will be available in late November. Season Two will be released in late Spring, when I return from maternity leave.
The show will cover a range of topics that fall under the category of lifestyle and business. What makes this show so unique is that we’ll focus on thriving both personally and professionally.
